Castleman Disease (CD) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder. There are two variants called Unicentric and Multicentric, the former occuring in immunocompetent setting, while the latter occurs in the setting of HIV and is associated with KSHV/HHV8 infection.

Within Unicentric CD, Hyaline vascular and Plasma cell variant are the two subtypes of the disease. Hyaline Vascular type accounts for nearly 80-90% of unicentric cases.
