56-year-old obese female with diabetes presented with breathlessness and tested positive for COVID-19. CBC shows pancytopenia and the flag off for a clot. The peripheral smear shows neutrophils with fat globules. Particles of yellow fat in the collection tube can be seen in figure 2.
