The blood film of a patient with prolymphocytic progression of CLL showing large prolymphocytes with prominent nucleoli. CD5 negative kappa restricted B lymphocytes were identified by flow cytometry. Targeted FISH reveals deletion of 17p13 and absence of t(11;14) translocation.
