- 70% are acute megakaryocytic leukemia
- After 5 years of age, no GATA1 mutations in ML-DS are observed (should not be called ML-DS)
- Trisomy 8 frequent, but not monosomy 7
- After 5 years of age, GATA1-mutant AML is bad compared to de novo.
