Photomicrograph of a bone marrow biopsy with numerous immature myeloid cells which appear to contain eosinophilic cytoplasmic granules. Additionally, a number of mature eosinophils are present.

The bone marrow aspirate demonstrates a blast (top), along with 2 promyelocytes which contain abnormal, large, coarse basophilic granules in the cytoplasm. A mature, hypolobate eosinophil at the bottom is also present which contains more typical, small cytoplasmic granules.
