Comparison of different granulated white blood cells in the peripheral blood:
• large granular lymphocyte (green arrow);
• few fine azurophilic granules unevenly distributed in the pale cytoplasm, Basophil (red arrow);
• large globular purple granules with some directly overlying the nucleus, Neutrophil (blue arrow);
• mostly fine specific granules which fill the cytoplasm and impart a pinkish hue to the cell.
