Refractory cytopenia with multilineage dysplasia (RCMD). Bone marrow aspirate smear (Wright-Giemsa stain). This composite of an aspirate smear is from a different patient, but also illustrates multilineage dysplasia. Hypogranular neutrophils (arrows) and an abnormal, small megakaryocyte (double arrows) are readily appreciated.
