A bone marrow aspirate on a patient presenting with pancytopenia is shown. Large groups of pale-appearing cells with abundant agranular cytoplasm and benign-appearing nuclei are seen. These cells were CD19-, CD20-, CD11c-, and CD103-positive consistent with a diagnosis of hairy cell leukemia.
