This is a case of 6 years old female patient with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) - M7 category. As you can see, in pictures, micro-megakaryocytes are present in bone marrow sample of patient yet these abnormal megakaryocytes did not generate platelets to release and thrombocytopenia is obvious.
